In the jungle you must go slowly… you must breathe and calm your nerves when you walk and there might be a dangerous animal… everything is slower, purer…
Today I ordered Instacart to bring me medicine and when the person dropped off the order I needed to receive it… I said: I'll be there in 5 min… they replied: 🤯 wow
When I opened the door I saw their relief that I hadn't taken the full 5 minutes…
And I reflected: what kind of life are we building where we don't have 5 minutes? What is it that we're chasing so hard out there?
I've been sleeping all day… I cancelled sessions and decided to sleep… to listen to my body….
So I wanted to share this reflection with you: are you willing to pay the price of what you're seeking out there? Have you measured the personal consequences of your definition of success?
