The first steps
Alejandro started studying Computer Science on scholarships of just €300 per month. He worked with open-source but earned only about $18,000 a year.
2000-2007
Working in Spain
He worked for Spanish companies doing open-source for clients like Telefónica, Vodafone and BBVA. He traveled across Latin America and raised his salary to $40,000.
2007-2015
$1M billed, $100K saved
He founded his own open-source company. He billed over $1M USD in 8 years, but lacked key business skills. After long hours he only had $100,000 in the bank.
2015
The big change
He moved to Silicon Valley. He did 1,000 interviews at 100 companies and accepted an offer at Splunk. His compensation jumped from $40,000 to over $200,000 a year.
2017-2023
Adobe, Microsoft and the million
He worked at Adobe and Microsoft (LinkedIn), reaching $1M a year. He helped grow 100+ engineers and wrote books sharing what he learned about interviews and negotiation.
2024
EngineerGame
After 1,000+ interviews and visiting 65 countries, he created EngineerGame: a private academy and community helping developers multiply their salary with a proven Silicon Valley framework.

Wandari is born
Seeing coaches and mentors juggle 8–12 different tools to sell, teach and retain students, he built Wandari: the all-in-one platform born inside EngineerGame to scale online academies without losing the human touch.

Why I built Wandari
EngineerGame taught hundreds of professionals to scale their careers. But many students wanted to go further: build their own academy, sell mentorship and create a digital business.
I saw the same pattern over and over: Hotmart for payments, Skool for community, Calendly for booking, Mailchimp for email… and zero integration. They lost time, data and students along the way.
